Good idea or not

I am addicted to finding old sites like that. I haven't had much luck on coins since its a single family home and it seems they didn't have much to lose back then. The relics are neat though but the silvers have been rare for me in those sites. Good luck! Hit it again and see what pops up!

I have hunted areas like that to where the coins was extremely deep. Try overlapping your sweeps and slowing down. If you get a signal pinpoint the depth and recheck in discrimination. P.S. I have found a few cool coins on repeatable "iffy" signals. Hope it helps!

I have been md on a couple of old homesteads lately. Certainly relics are the norm. Nails, so many you could roof a house. One nickel coin from the 1990's. Going to slow down and keep looking. Still new to this.

I agree. Back in the old days even a penny could buy you several peices of " penny candy " and folks just kept better track of what little money they did have. Today kids lose more money on the school playground than people made working in a day.
Those sites always look soooo goood and are fun to detect but I haven't had any luck there either.
