I had some black widows for mine they worked great also killer bee's work good if you are looking for better ones

The koss that White's sells are pretty nice or if you hunt in the woods radio shack has auvio wireless headphones 33-283 I believe just make sure you don't get a bluetooth set as they have lag and will make pinpointing very hard. They don't list them on the website but do have them in most stores, I have heard some people saying that they didn't have them in the radio shack near them though.

The auvio headphones have long been discontinued and were sold out at $2.97. Ergo, most employees stocked up on them. The closest to it are the TDK wr700. The only cons are the price and they are ON THE EAR headphones not OVER THE EAR.

I think the 33-283 are the newer auvio headphones that replaced the older model number, can't remember what number the older ones were.

All the Detector Pro headphones are excellent. I really like the Black Widow's but the Grey Ghost along with the ultimates are great too. These fit around the ear to block out side noise and are very comfortable. Killr Bees are very good too. Try to get to try them on at your dealers as some aren't all that comfortable. Why spend all that $$$ for a good detector and go cheap on the headphones? :icon_scratch:

Again ::)....the Auvio 33-283 headphones are no longer made. See above post. The TDK WR700 do not come with a charger and they are "on the ear" not over the ear headphones and are expensive. They do have KLEER technology and there is no lag or chatter with them...jim

The Liberty Headphones are excellant and have a great warranty. They are very high quality with the best cord I have seen on any of the ones talked about. Real leather ear cup pads and light in weight.

Yep the auvio 33-283 wireless headphones have been discontinued the radio shack nearest me doesn't have them but one about 10 miles from me has 2 sets left, so some stores may still have some on the shelves.

I have the killer B hornets. I really like the leathery ear muffs, they don't get slippery when you get sweaty, and the cord is nice and long so you can stand up with your DFX on the ground. Koss makes good stuff too IMHO.

I have been using Grey Ghost for years, good sound.
