I just got around to cleaning up this token that I dug last summer. It is suffering from a little aluminum rot but still kinda nice

Token is about the size of a Quarter. " GOOD FOR 5 CENTS AT THE BAR " and what looks like " J.H. CALLAHAN "

I googled it but did not come up with much Any info on this token out there ?

Interesting about it being found in Vermont. I don't know if this is a coincidence or if it just happened to be dropped in VT by someone who had been to Michigan. There is a JH Callahan token showing from Albion, MI - the Commercial Hotel

The historian of Albion, MI keeps this blog where he answers questions. He also said he has a token collection from the town merchants. If you think this might be a possibility maybe post him a message.
