Hey guys I found this “gold dollar” today on an old farm pulled lots of goodies out but this coin is not gold! My question is can it be gold underneath the crustation or is it counterfeit? It rings up 14-15 on my nox.

I couldn't find a pic, but in the 1800s there was a pocket watch chain that had an imitation gold dollar. That may be what you found, but it's only a guess.
