Good Day In The Old Woods - 1894 Barber Quarter, 1906 IH & 1920 Buffalo
Needless to say, I went back to the woods today, where I've been finding some interesting things over the past couple of months. Found an 1894 Barber Quarter (a bit worn) a 1906 Indian Head Penny, and a 1920 Buffalo Nickel. First Buffalo Nickel where I can read the date. I cleaned the IH & Buffalo when I got home, and just rinsed the quarter under water. Including todays finds, this is what the woods have produced so far:
1785 or 1787 Nova Constellatio Copper
Large late 18th Century Button with line markings
1803 Gold Half Eagle Kettle Coin Replica or Game Marker
C1820-1830 US Navy Button In Fine Cond.
1864 Counterfeit California Gold Dollar
1894 Barber Quarter
C1900 Admiral Dewey "Welcome Our Hero" Souvenir Medal
1902 Barber Dime
1906 Indian Head Penny
1920 Buffalo Nickel
C1920s Knights Templar Medal
1937 Mercury Dime
Also two other Indian Head Pennies (don't recall the dates)
And Assorted 19th Century Relics (Buttons, Buckles, ect.)
