I went to a local auction today. Ive done the auction scene but hadn't ever gone to this auction house. I got up early and headed down to preview it. A few things caught my eye (mainly coins and firearms). The auction starts and after they get through the furniture they start the small stuff. The firearms went for well above brand new values and the morgans and silver dimes they had went well above melt. I was able to pick up 4 1964 mint sets for $45. After all the showcases items went up they started selling boxes of merch. I ended up with a few more items and in total paid $185.

This is what I got and the values I can find:
4 1964 mint sets-$80
WWII German Mauser bayonet- $40
Jeremy Shockey throwback Giants jersey- $70
Brian Urlacher Bears Orange Jersey- $50
Misc Broncos cards (the auction is in Denver)- $80
4 Copper etched prints of big game animals - $160
1833 Gunns Domestic Medicine book- $?? (Found an 1834 version someone is asking $725 for)
1854 Bullions English Grammer Book -$10
1891 Personal Memoirs of Gen'l W T Sherman book -$150

Think I did well going to get the books checked out though
