I have a hay field in front of the house and a road/driveway going around it that runs in front of the house about 75 feet from the front porch. I found these a couple of months ago after a heavy rain in the road. The scraper (if that's what it is) is what I saw first and after looking at it I unceremoniously flipped the "red rock" over....( I laid the scraper back down after I flipped the other for the photo)Its in my top 5 of best finds. And I am terrible at identifying and dating these things so any help with identifying is welcomed.

there is a lot more out there!

Very nice, I agree with Tdog about it being a Savanna River. The material looks to be red quartz.

Will do, I have another red I found about 50 feet from this one only it was about 25 years ago or so.I will show both.

I said I had another red, but it is actually just partial red. I found the one in the middle about 25 years ago and has been a favorite of mine. It was about 20 feet from the side of the house. If you look close it has a small white tip off set from the center. The big red I found a few weeks ago was about 50 feet in front of the house. The other on the left I found in a river about 7 or 8 miles from my house. It appears to have the same off set tip on it and made from a completely different material. Any ID on the other two would be much appreciated. I apologize for the pics being up side down! lol

I have a friend that knapps and I asked him if he can make something out of quartz. His reply was "those boys were good"
