Is it just me or do animals aim their "piles" at coins? Not that I make a point of sweeping "piles", but it seems that an unusual portion of the moose poop piles I run across while hunting are on top of a good silver signal. I know the moose aren't eating coins, so what gives? ;D

;) :D ;SO that is why I have not found any silver coins yet. No Moose poop here in southern California. Lol :)

Actually, maybe when they graze on groundplants, they inadvertantly eat some coinage?

I go along with gypsyheart. Watch you dog sometime. Mine will check and mark over every spot were another animal has been. Rob

The only moose I've seen here is hanging on the wall at a museum! :DI I asked where they kept the moose poop but the lady at the museum just gave me a gape mouthed stare. Suggestion: Always carry a silver dollar with you. When you get a good silver signal in moose poop, throw the silver dollar in so it will be worth digging! Just kidding I hope you know? Actually, my dog has a bad habit of pooping in my coin garden. Good thing I have a pooper scooper on standby. Yuck, why am I even telling you this? ::) :-[ Monty

Alaskan! Say aren't you the guys that sealed the moose pellets in plastic and made earrings to sell to the tourists. I always admired your imagination. So there's always been money in those piles.

Good thoughts. I was only half looking for an answer to this curiosity. Just wanted to toss a nugget out there for y'all to chew on. ;)

Monte, if you want to test my theory, I can send you a few truckloads. Got to have a large enough sample size to prove anything.

Those poop novelties are making big $$ up here. Too bad I didn't think of it. :'(

I'm gonna start watching all dogs for some good MDing sites....... ;D

O god now I have to detect 10 million piles of moose nuggets, maybe I picked the wrong hobby lol

Gives a whole new meaning to a $hitload of money. ;)

Have found a silver dime or two from our club hunts in Canadian Geese poop. Guess they like shiney stuff. They seem to pretty much stay around the local lake year round.
