I just ordered an at pro....no freebes...no junk...no nothing but the detector....cant see why ppl would want a smaller coil...i want the depth that this machine can deliver....ill learn it...use it...thats why it is matched 2 it...all this other hype is 2 sell another coil...why would i spend money 2 lose depth?? Minelab users are lol....i will learn and master the machine....50 hours is enough...u guys crack me up with 200 hrs or so....duh...i might miss 2 of every 50 coins i gather....u can have them 2 ....dosent make them special....i have been using rat shack detectors 4 a lot yrs...they have found a lot...most i havent posted...i guess it is all about the new....better than art....but 2 find the good stuff...u have 2 b in the right place...i found 7 gold coins in a school yard...i love show and tell i guess...lmao...u never know where it is...and yes....i never posted that find

You can't understand why people would want a smaller coil? Really? If all you care about is depth, just get a PI unit it'll be much deeper than your At Pro. Have fun!

WTH? I can't even follow what the OP is about. Does anyone understand it?

Fella, I think he's had an afternoon toddy or 6! Or lost his meds.

If you detect a school yard then there would have to be some really trashy spots and one should learn what a smaller coil is good for. That being said I own five different coils for my detector and yeah ones really big a 13" ultimate coil made by coiltek and it separates pretty good for being such a big coil but it doesn't compare to my 4x6 DD coil. I can run that 4x6 DD coil a little hotter than my bigger coils though but you still lose depth but you gain separation between trash, its a give and take but some area's like strips between sidewalks and roads your not going to find much unless you dig all the trash out of one little bity spot for hours. HH

Im still wondering what kind of school has 7 gold coins in the yard...whats that smell?

Mmm.....................chocolate.............

The stock coil is a great coil but the 5x8 is just so much better in the trashy areas where the depth of a coil isn't going to help one bit. I used the stock coil for a while before getting the 5x8. I love the 5x8 in the heavy trash.

Yes i had a few beers to drink when i posted. Sorry about the dots.....lol. im typing from a new smart phone. No puter now. Gotta change pages to find commas and caps.didnt want to do all that. Just thought it was funny about the coils though. Most minelab ppl think the pro is junk and to lose depth with a smaller coil probably is making them lol. Ill see what the pro csn do and post my finds. And yes i did find 7 gold coins in a elementary school 2 yrs ago..all 5 dollar denomonations. I didnt post because i lived in a very small town then and i didnt want anyone 2 know. They were spread in about a 3 ft circle. So i found them all with my trusty rat shack 2000 . Kid must have swiped his parents collection...good 4 me. Sorry if hurt someones feelings on here. Happy hunting ppl

Friends don't let friends drink and post. Whoops, just broke my own rule. :laughing7:

Minelab users are lol? What the..... Rat Shack? Caddyshack maybe.

I think I'll sell all my detectors and get an AT Pro, so I too can get incredible depth............................................................................using only the stock coil of course.

I use a Garrett MKII 10X14 :BangHead: I miss nothing!!!! Nothing I tell you!!!!! Nothing!!!!

But the feeling in my right arm :icon_scratch: what was I thinking?
