Cut trip short

Caught a mess of blue gill Saturday eve and Sunday morning. A soaking thunderstorm blew through mid morning then the sun popped out. Temperature hit 95 by lunch and the humidity jumped to 65 percent. Even though Sunday evening was prime fishing time I packed up and went to the house. There is a full moon every 28 days so I can fish another time. No point in being miserable if you don?t have to be. Took pictures but cannot figure out how to post them.

Don't care to fillet bluegills, but I'd have sure brought a
tub or two of those crawdads home!

I'm 90 minutes north of El Dorado. Always wanted to fish Caddo, Caney and D'Arbonne but never made the time to go. Maybe I will this summer. I mainly kayak fish and all of those lakes seem to be ideal for it. Maybe we'll bump into each other on one some day.
