Could be part of an old cocktail or bar set. My dad had one that was made of plastic, as I recall, where a stirring spoon, swizzle stick, pronged spear of sorts, I guess for grabbing olives and such with... all had golf heads on the ends There were a couple of woods and a few Irons. Don't remember what all the utensils were. Perhaps that is what that is from. Some older or higher quality set. If you found it detecting, I would guess that the design on the face is a metal plate of sorts?

Just a guess though, nice find.

looks like part of the cocktail set - my gran still uses hers. it has olive fork, swizzle stick, spoon, bottle opener, corkscrew and jigger, all packed prettily in a golf-bag shaped case. (can you hear my eyes rolling? lol) not sure how old it is, she thinks she got hers back in the late 50s-early 60s.
