As stated these are 14th infantry DUI's (distinctive unit insignias). Yours appear to be early post WW2 , "theater made," probably Germany. Reasons are it has a German type of pin attachment and the metal also appears to be zinc or some other form of white metal which was common for the Germans as evidenced by many of their own medals, awards and tinnies. Hope this helps.
