GOLDEN Dragon Pins - CIVIL, WWI, WWII??

I got this lot of pins mixed in with a jewelry lot from a recent auction. I can't tell if they are "real" or "theater" made pieces. Any ideas?

It's as if they are made of some sort of pot metal.

mjm579 - there are a few guys that hang out in the "what is it" forum that are spectacular with military badges. I bet they could help you with an age and use. You're right, they look very primitive. Having served and being a bit of a collector myself, I have not seen funky work like this.

As stated these are 14th infantry DUI's (distinctive unit insignias). Yours appear to be early post WW2 , "theater made," probably Germany. Reasons are it has a German type of pin attachment and the metal also appears to be zinc or some other form of white metal which was common for the Germans as evidenced by many of their own medals, awards and tinnies. Hope this helps.
