🏆 HONORABLE MENTION Gold Wedding Band Returned To Farmer After 15 Years!

Today we continued the grind field & managed to cover 5 acres in 5 hours! Lots of junk clearing.
Only real good find was a Gold Wedding Band & to our surprise (although the thought crossed our mind, it being a modern ring) the farmer stated he had lost it 15 years ago whilst fixing a tractor, the misses went mental...
We said we would take it home, clean it, photo it & return to him on Monday.

We build trust with all our farmers, so it's earned not given. Remember we only recently told him about the 1881 Gold Coin, the 2nd gold coin from his land. We will, if time permits show him that coin as well on Monday. (Along with all the other finds)

Jeff normally doesn't give them without proof (picture of me handing to farmer). No way I'm asking the owner to do that, it would expose us both to unwanted attention.
I'm just happy I could add another great story to our detecting career. The ring meant nothing to me, & everything to him, easy choice/no brainer in my eyes.
