Sorry for the crummy phone pic, but thought I'd post this 14k service pin I got lucky enough to get my coil over today. I rarely find gold because I mainly hunt yards and don't dig all low tones. I was on a lot a couple doors down from me I've dug a dozen or so silvers from and have cleaned out the coin targets. This gave a nice solid tone at 6 or 7 inches, which is as deep or deeper than the silver coins so I dug it. Glad I did. Marked 14k,with a name, and a date of 1910. I think it is from Standard Oil Co. but could be wrong. Not a local last name but will try to locate family members.

The one on worthpoint looks to have been repaired. The pin and hardware are gold on the one I found. Mine is also marked William & Co. Chicago on the back. Unfortunately the tip of the pin broke off while trying to open it dirty to read the back,Doh!
