Hi guys, it's been awhile since I posted any finds. Well today since it was a Holiday, 4 of us guys had the day off work. Was really a nice day here in NW Ohio and in the high 40's. Hey that's hot in January ha!ha! One of my buddies found a 14K Gold ring, another guy found a silver Rosy, late 50's and I only found 7 wheat pennies. What a great day for detecting. We hated to stop hunting, but it gets dark here fast so have to wait for the next nice day to hunt. Maybe Tomorrow after work. Happy Hunting guys, Ringfinder

Hey ringfinder,..Everyday out is a good day.Sound's like you guy's had a pretty good day,Me...had to put in the 8,oh well.Congrat's on your alls find's and keep diggin'.HH!!

Hey Denny,
My son and I went out for a little bit also. There was still a lot of ice in spots. Started out without a hat and after about 45 minutes I was cold. :P We didn't find too much(best was an "older" token) - checked out a couple new spots. The one old torn down 1800's homesite was overgrown and looked to be filled in in spots. The other park had lots of bottle caps for us! Still take it for January in Cleveland.

7 Wheat pennies ain't bad. Sounds like the ring was nice. Hey, aren't you suppose to be the ringfinder! :D

Bob

Cool sounds like a good hunt.

Hey Bob and Son and the rest of you guys, yep i'm the ringfinder, but I didn't find one this time, my buddy beat me to it. Ha!ha! Some of the dates on the wheaties were 1934, 1935, a couple of 44 D's, and three 1950's. I mentioned 4 guys whent hunting, but only 3 of us found older items, the 4th guy found mostly new clad coins. I'm from the old school, I usually use one machine while hunting, but some guys who think they aren't finding anything keep changing detectors. Well I still like my good old trusty 1995 Whites XLT, with a SunRay Probe. I have other machines, but I always fall back on my XLT. Darn thing just keeps producing those hard to find goodies. Well HH, from the ringfinder. P.S. Can't wait for this darn snow to get off the ground, today while talking to a guy at work, I found a couple of other promising places to hunt. Seems the guy lives on a old road here in Ohio and near were he lives he found two I say 2 old muzzleloader barrels near a creek. Can't wait to hunt that site. Dates back at least 200yrs. By guys happy hunting.

Congrats to all of you for being able to get out and make some finds. H H.
