I got home from work last night and hit the park at 9pm. Not much to speak of until about 11 when I dug a 1941 merc
About 30 minutes later I get a solid quarter signal at 10"+ that turned up this really neat looking horse button that was a good 12" down.
Around midnight I started heading out. I decided to hit the tot lot for a few minutes before packing up and I'm glad I did!
Within 3 minutes I found this clad ring that gave me hope. Then a few minutes later I get a solid low tone 4".
I brush away the wood chips and see the sparkle we all long to see... It;s not marked, but I filed a groove into it and it's not plated.
Looks like I'm going to spend the weekend hammering this park!
Sorry for the horrible picture. All I have right now is my cell phone.
