I am really pooped. Been hunting for a long time.

There is a park that is one mile from my house.
They have Summer Fest, Spring fest, Fourth of
July and more celebrations there. Yesterday they
had Fall Fest.

There were craft booths of many kinds including
JEWELRY booths!!!!

I got up with the sun and hunted the same area I
have hunted at least three times before. I never
found anything but coins. I think that’s because I
was afraid of digging all the trash. It’s infested!!!!

This time I was determined. I think it really makes
a difference what frame of mind I’m in.

Here is one of the pavilions that they used as a
stage.

Here is an area I have hunter with a little success.

In this area you can see where they painted lines
for the booths. This is where I found most of the
jewelry.

In the far left of this photo is where I found the gold
ring.

The 14k gold wedding band I found appears to have
been cut off someone’s finger!!!!

I also found a 925 silver skate boarder pendant, a
toe ring that looks like silver and a thin ring that also
looks like silver. I found a setting with a blue stone.
The setting was broken off something and looks like
silver. There is a broken pendant that says “ LOVE “
and I think part of a Boy Scout pin. I also found a
cut glass humming bird and a junk ring.

Here’s the pile with trash.

Here’s a couple of closer shots.

I don’t know how many targets I dug, but I’m sore
after all that. I think I’ll take a hot shower.

Thanks for lOOking,

Lotta work TD!

Glad you pulled some good finds out of there...

Is the weather cooling off a bit for you?

Hi Rmptr,

It has cooled off enough I can stay out in the shade.

That's what I did today.

I just stayed in the shade of those oak trees.

As the shade moved accross the ground, I was able

to do a lot of area and stay in the shade.

That's been my longest hunt sense I went in the hospital.

Happy Hunting,

Tabdog

Wow, I've only found 3 gold rings in 4 years of detecting. I don't know wether to say it's great luck or great detecting, but it's probably a mixture of both. Congrats!

Nice going on the gold! Hey, maybe it just got hit by a lawn mower.
