Found the following on Miami Beach.

First pic is the marks on the reverse where the hole is. These are the only marks on the reverse.

Here is the obverse of the whole charm and a close-up of the two words:

My questions are:
Do the marks on the back indicate that it is gold? The one near the top looks like a "10" but I dunno.
Anyone know what the words on the front say?

Thanks,
Kevo

Kevo, I'm guessing it is written in Arabic, since the colored crest looks like Palestine flag.

The Palestinian flag is the same as Jordan's without the markings in the red triangle:

 I was close. Can't even begin to read the markings though. Funny thing is I just noticed in your title that you already had the Palestine part figured out. Sometimes my thinking gets ahead of my reading. :tongue3:

arabic made gold items are normally at least 18 k -- their very fussy about gold and do not like under 18 k items normally speaking.

Stefan, you seem to be right on the money, the dots correspond to (from top to bottom)

Haifa
Tel Aviv
Jerusalem

Now if I could figure out what the words mean I'd be set!

Thanks!

Kevo, do you think the bottom symbol is a BIRD? If so, I found a post on the Internet dealing with 'bird' like marks on gold. It might not mean diddly squat, but it's a shot:
QUESTION: I have an 18K white gold eternity ring that contains Arabic hallmarks. I was told it was from Egypt, but there is no lotus mark. There is an Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic-like tiny bird stamp and other Arabic letters. Any ideas?

ANSWER: Iit looks like the sea gull to me, which is the standard mark for Egypt.

Within the first shield is 18ct written in Arabic script. The last hallmark, after the Egyptian standard mark, the sea-gull, is the Egyptian date letter, after a long examination with my jewelers loupe, this gold mark which I can just make out is the Egyptian date letter mark, and is the Arabic letter Dal -
English equivalent to D.

This gold wedding band was made in Egypt 1999-02 or 1951-53. In either case, it is not an antique gold wedding ring.

You can find a link with the Arabic date letters here in English:
EGYPTIAN DATE LETTER MARKS ON JEWELRY

Between 1916 and 1940 Egyptian date marks will be written in English, not in Arabic writing due to English occupation of Egypt.

So if Egyptian made jewelry contains date letters in Arabic writing, the item would have been hallmarked after 1940.

There is more information on Antique Jewelry Investor about Egyptian marks on jewelry here.

Thank you for your question.

In reality, the shape of the jewelry object is the physical outlined of the country of Israel, which some Christains still insist on calling it Palestine...and since the script is in Arabic, I must assume that it says 'Palestine'...and if not, I'd bet my Kipa, it doesn't mean peace :icon_scratch:
