DSCF3640.JPGDSCF2424.JPGSCUBA Diving and underwater metal detecting at a swim hole in the eastern part of NC, led to the discovery of a 0.80 oz gold chain. 14KT and 34" in length. The GOLD CHAIN was found diving in 12 feet of water. Great viz, and appeared as a "PILE OF GOLD" underwater. When diving with visibility, everything looks 3x as big, so it was exciting to detect this GOLD find, piled up in the sand utilizing a White's Surfmaster II, VLF in fresh water. More water finds are coming. Thanks and happy hunting!:cross:

That is an awesome find! Congrats! Go back and get more!

Nice find, that's got to be exciting, looks like your really not dressed for diving this time of year? How the heck can you dive like that, water temps around me are in the low 40's?

Great find. I would rather detect in swimming holes than anywhere else...d2
