I TOOK IT STRAIGHT TO A DENTAL LAB OF A FRIENDS AND HAD IT CLEANED.
FRIEND THERE HAD A BOOK ON WATCHES AND SAID IT WAS ABOUT 1915 WHEN MADE.

WHAT YOU SEE IS THE BACK SIDE AND BEST SIDE OF THE WATCH.
FRONT SIDE HAS ONLY THE WHITE BEZEL WITH THE GLASS COVER AND INSIDE WATCH MECHANISM MISSING.
ON THE BACK SIDE I HAVE HAND ENGRAVED INITIALS K.V. OR Y
 

Welcome and way to go. I have only found parts of the old watches. I have found dozens of more modern watches though.
