Kind of liking an area as of recently. The first round of finds included a 1809 Half Cent, a KGII 1744, and a coupla buttons not pictured. One coin, about the size of a KG is really damaged and has a grey look to it though it seems a couple of copper sparkles show though.
The next trip yielded the brooch - which I thought was broken at first but looks like two pins, perhaps to clasp a scarf or something. Near the brooch was the 10k ring- rang up as a shotgun shell! I still can't believe it.
Then there's the rectangular buckle. Maybe a cut steel buckle from 1800 or so? Then there's the boy scout knife. Kinda neat. Was in a ditch type location and rang up as a penny.
HH!

Cool finds, she looks spooky, lol. GOLD! Nice.......

She does have a haunting look to her. Yep, gold is where you find it I guess.
Just figured out the knife is from the 1930s which surprised me.

Nice finds...but where's the knife?

Looks like it didnt attach - basically it is a lump of corrosion anyway. Says "Boy Scout" on the plate.
