Short hunt today, I hit the tot lot and found the usual clad, the oldest coins were a 1957 D wheat and a nice 1939 Jefferson nickel. Once i cleaned the tot lot I moved to the area from my last post
The area where I found the three Indians and the British three pence coin. First hole there revealed the cuff link with the blue center. Same hole also gave up the tiny lead ball, I recalled someone saying they come from parasol slides. Best hole for last a choppy signal breaking from high to midtone with iron grunts, out pop this beauty from about two inches deep. A men 14K with a date engraved inside, more than likely a wedding band. I was thrilled only my second gold for the year. Hit the scale at 6.8 grams not a lot but it’s a beautiful piece. HH n GL to all.
