I found the above horseshoe ring, broken school ring and silver ring wading yesterday during a great negative tide and sunny chilly day.
This is the third horseshoe ring I've found but the other two were not gold and beat up. This one has the solder joint gone and a stone missing but is actually one of the top 10 heaviest gold rings I've ever found at 13.6 gr. A steady/solid 15 on my equinox.
The broken school ring was also a 15 but faint. I could hear weaker signals that I dug for at least 15 minutes before the signals disappeared and I had to move on.
Silver ring was last, very encrusted, I'll clean it up when I have a chance.
