Yep but back in 2008, it was around $10,000 an ounce. They made a major find of Rhodium and the market for it, took a major correction (drop).

My pops broke the springs on his pickup truck taking his stack to a refiner.

I find discrepancy between different reportings, though.
The Yahoo finance page has gold sitting at $1518.40, atm,
the Ultrafast live gold calculator at dendritics shows $1506.03, atm ( https://dendritics.com/metal-calc/ ),
and our own kitco is showing $1504.10, atm.

I just always wondered about those differences, like, which is it....

Hence why my Wife's Big Fingered self, has not been able to afford to get the small white gold rings I found her over the years have not been sized 'YET'.
