A small amount of placer and flour, the pickers in NC and CO. Most of large was CO.

The crystal with gold is about 3 inches tall NC. Would love to find its value. It is not wuite flat on the bottom but perfect 5 sided.

I will try to add more pictures. The crystal is made up of smaller crystals, the gold is between the smaller crystals. It was found in NC where my husband was dredging, I was just walking around and found it laying in the mud one side up. I dug it out of the mud. The mine and land owner ws amazed and we looked at it through microscope and he told me not to let anyone "steal" it from me. I had his permission to wander, but not to the mine itself. He mines the big stuff in the winter and crushes, and this one had slipped through and was in the public area near the crusher. I guess as the hot thermal formed the crystal the gold was forced into the areas between each crystal. Hard to tell exactly how much gold there is in it but the piece itself is a beauty, though not perfect. Thanks for the info!
