Went to a local beach Friday and hunted 2 1/2 hours. Hardly any signals in the very cool water, had to use my wet suit, especially since there was no sun. Got 3 coins, some trash and then my heart took a beat, there in my scoop was gold. Haven't see that glitter in quite awhile. The ring is 10kt. , 1.7gr. with Amethyst in the center, Aquamarine on both sides and 3 diamond chips on top and 3 chips on the bottom .
Happiness is seeing gold in the scoop!!!

Seems im finding more of the smaller gold this month too Les.... hey but its gold thats what counts. Slim pickens out there, but hopefully some of this sand will make some kind of a movement this winter.
