Gold filled, gold plate....questions

What do you all do with the stuff, save it to send in to an E scrap company? Sell it?

I have a lot of stuff starting to pile up lol I won't toss anything that has a spec of gold on it!

I watched a bunch of Youtube videos about refining gold, specifically about my massive collection of computer parts. Plated and filled items would be essentially the same. Nasty stuff going there. There's a member here, can't remember his username - but his information was very valuable to my questions. If I remember correctly, the member sends a mass of plated and filled to a refiner, and collects basically on the refining results - but he does take a hit. However, he still does it! In life, every little bit helps.

Gold filled I ship to NTR in Dallas. I do not bother with gold plate. I used to batch refine at home, which was fun and easy, but the nitric acid was just too expensive - like $70 a bottle. Everything else was dirt cheap.

Just did a search on NTR...they were suspected in gold smuggling? I need to see what they pay for goldfilled. But being from Dallas, Texas...this is an interesting story.

Yeah that’s a crazy story with NTR but I haven’t had any problems so far
