Went back to the same spot again today ....

Searched the lawn where some of the topsoil was dumped.

Found the GOLD 10KT pendant and 1 musket ball there.

The knife and other 2 musket balls were in the fields

The grass is just so damn thick and high that am not getting the signals......there is a path going around the field where they mow--about 5 feet wide...that's where I found the 2 musket balls and got lotsa hits of other stuff also.

So I can only assume that I,m just missing the other stuff where the grass is long..cause as soon as I leave the path the signals stop .

Frustrating...but still places to hunt there...just have to wait for winter and the grass lays down so I can hunt it decent.

The 2 coppers I found there yesterday ..I found around one old foundation that the guy had whipper snipped down for extra parking space...had gone over it before when it was long and no signals..missed them.

So I can only imagine the amount of stuff that is there but I can,t get to it.

Frosty nights coming, that'll help a bit with the grass. As fall progresses the vegetation will wither and desiccate a bit too, but your best bet will be a spring hunt.
You'll no doubt have dome awesome finds when the ground thaws

Great finds but please spare us with THE ALL CAPS IN THE TITLES ;) I like the knife with the moon and star! :)

I have the same eagle pendant...nothing wrong with gold under the coil or even those musket balls....great finds..

TY GUYS

sry............. its kinda lame posting... wasn,t much under the coil...one of those days !!!

I gotta take the time and do a relic hunt there...I been skipping over the low numbers on my fisher....iron.

However... my detector seems to put old iron items into the foil range which I do dig...has found me interesting stuff.

Well in the old areas you should almost dig everything...somethings are on their sides and give faulty readings...some of best finds came up junky...

You goota love finding gold...................

yup-- gonna find out one day later this week when I return to that spot.

whenever I dig a low number it always ends up being trash/old nails /pieces of rusty iron...so I have a hard time talking myself into digging them.
