Every year around the end of October, the wife and I make the trek to the Salt River where thousands
of tubers float down during the summer. If all goes well, they will loose alot of jewelry and other goodies that either fall off their hands or out of their coolers when they hit the rapids. It's amazing how much is lost during one summer of tubing. We went out last weekend and dug up some nice rings and the assorted knives, car and house keys and of course, pull tabs and bottle tops. Out of the seven rings we found, only one was cheezy. Three had nice diamonds in them. One almost got
tossed aside because it looked like a roller bearing before it was washed off. That one had ten
diamonds in it, five on each side. The cross is both yellow and white, 14k gold. I've included some pics of the river with the water drying up and some of the jewels. The baby pic is my grandson, born a few hours after we got home from the river. Had just enough time to shower and go to the hospital. The pic of the baby is when he was about fifteen minutes old.
