Gold cross & maybe part of a musket?

A good hunting day! Found a nice 14k gold cross on the banks of a river near a colonial fort and what appears to be a 2 inch piece of a musket (not sure, but similar to those of pictures of musket flint lock component). Also these interesting lead? disc shaped pieces a foot from each other. Have no idea what it is - fishing sinkers? would they have two parts and fit together?

Nice chunk of gold there! Whats it weigh? The way those brass bits are threaded I doubt they are musket parts, look more like clock or electrical parts. Similar to an old fuse box or switching station.
