First off, thanks everyone that can help in this. Just got into the hobby. Found a gold ring today in the grass. Need to figure out the writing and marking. First off what language and second what is this other marking means. I was first thinking is was Arabic, Russian, Hewbrew, but couldnt match the letters. Anyone out there seen these types of letters. Look at how the H is done. Ive seen it before but cant place what language. If we can figure that out I might be able to match the symbol and see if its a marking for gold in a foreign language. Who knows.
thanks again for any help provided. Hopefully this will be my second gold ring. The first one I found was a two in one. A ring and a gold coin. All in one. 18K Gold ring with a 24K 1,10th oz US gold eagle coin in it. Awesomeness.

Anyone have any clue as to the language type? Any middle eastern speaking people here that have seen this type of writing

Nice find! Hey... its hard to read even with your nice pictures... any way you can draw or write what the characters are?

Update: Actually, never mind... Your ring is 1920ish or newer sterling and/or costume jewelry from the Uncas Mfg. Co. who has business locations all over the world.

Can't tell you about the writing. Click below.
