not sure what these are i got them with some coins i purchased and have not done any testing on them



small one JAPAN GOLD 2 SHU (1860-69) weight 1.64g larger one is gold 2 BU (1867-1869) weight 3g gold over silver

With a closer look both look like counterfeits made for tourist, I have one. Carefully file or scape the edge to see if another color shows up. The fake I have is lead and leave gray streaks on paper.

Details are too soft...

took em to the local coin dealer and he confirmed that they are real he filed a small area and tested with acid

Congrats! That's great news to hear. I know that these coins were made very crudely and different from most other coins which makes them sometimes look fake when they are not.
