gold coins stolen

Maybe they dropped 1 or more when they were running away. Let's get 'em. :icon_pirat:

9300 block of Kenneth Ave,Skokie IL ................and i'd be happy with one,Tyskies on me

An old timer here in Elgin told me about a robbery at his place once. Said the bad guy was taking all the old cans of coins his father had saved and he had kept long after his father's death. The bad guy went out through the window on the run spilling coins all throughout the yard and garden. I was working the sidewalk/curb work in front of his place when he asked if I could locate any. Told him sure, but not right away. Never got back there. I'm so nasty....

from a home in Skokie,a 77 year old homeowner told police 28 coins were missing worth $150,000
Sorry to say ,the culprit is possibly a family member.Or friend of a family member.Seen it alot around here (AND in my own house) !!! . Two of my inlaws were ripped off by thier own,and . We used to help a single mother that rented across the street.Took her places, and to run errands, even bought her kids some new cloths a couple times.
The day she moved to a southern state. All our jewelry ---but our wedding rings--(cause we had them on) came up missing >:( ??? >:( .That girl was the only one my wife trusted with the hiding place ::) >:((Besides Me). Oh well ,so much for being a good Sumerian LOL.
Hope that old timer was well insured ,or gets his gold back. Thief probably took to the Pawn shop ,(Money 4 Drugs) :'(

I hate to hear news like that, and yeah, it's probably some sleaze bag crackhead relative that took them. I hope they nail whoever did this and they get their coins back. Scumbags.
I'm done ranting for now :icon_sunny:

Something just ain't jiving with this story.....average price of the coins....$5,300+ each
What a freakin' collection! What a freakin' collection to have just laying around inside the house
Must have been some very rare or extremely good quality coins!

Exactly what I was thinking when I read this. If it don't make dollars than it don't make sense.
