...need to find some Carbontetrachloride?
A permission hunt of an old stage horse exchange adobe site ....burned a few times apparently. At 13" found furniture wood with lead sticks , pooled MUCH heavier silver material (bleach won't tarnish and propane torch won't melt like lead) and below that a very heavy "coin" with riffle edge, like a coin and a good fleck of bright gold showing through the crust. On the reverse , I thought a shotgun shell/primer had been fused but light scaling showed this structure to be perfectly centered (as a snap or button). Tried Dawn , WD-40 ...ect. with no luck.
I have no scale but it weighs as much as a Franklin silver half dollar.
