Gold Bug II

yep, since it is a gold machine it gets everything including those fine gold chains most other machines can't touch. I had fisher epoxy fill one searchhead so I could get in the water aways. HH,bob

gold bug 2 great gold machines for sure but on the beach the salt would send this machine crazy you wouldnt be able to get any where near the waters edge.Might be alright up on very dry sand but with the sensitivity turned right down. Remember that machine runs at 71 klhz which is very high most beach machines run at less than 20. Good luck but you could finish up with a head ache I used to own a Whites goldmaster that ran at around 60 I used that on the beach and the noise used to drive me nuts .
good luck seeya neilo ;D
