Gold at spot price

Apmex is offering this through eBay with free shipping. If any of you are interested I thought I'd pass it along. 1 ounce bars for spot. I think it's a one-day offer I'm not really sure.

Thanks for posting this. I came close to buying but did not pull the trigger. Apmex must have a very clear picture of the gold price in the near term - it is down this morning.

They just sold over 6 million dollars in gold bars in a day. I wonder what their volume is on a day to day basis.

I would think it's going down when they're selling them at spot and it's on the price all the way down to $1168. However I did notice when I went to click on shipping and it said check for a quote and the bars came from outside the US. I don't know if that's common but the company selling them is US located so maybe they were just third-party selling the bars for someone else?

I considered it until I saw the shipping part and decided my money was better somewhere else at the moment.
