Yup, there is gold at middle earth!
My TH buddy FLAuthor and I headed out this morning to scope out his old stomping grounds where he grew up.
checked out an area where he walked to the auditorium as a kid and hunted the sidewalk edges.
we both each found enough clad to buy a soda (depending on where you go) and went for a short drive down FLauthors "memory lanes". Then he happened to show me a park with a tot lot, and I wanted to give it a quick going over as we had to meet up with his buddy to check out a Brownie Third Lung he was selling.

Tot lot produced::
52 cents in clad
1 gold 14k pendant-Anchor+cross+JC+Boat Helm
1gold plated Pirate Disney Ring :icon_pirat:

sidewalks produced::
65 cents in clad including a wheatie 1946 S

Total Clad $1.17 (the other dime missing from the pic must have fallen out somewhere...maybe FLAuthor's car or my yard...LOL

Over all it was a banner day as always, great company, great weather, great meeting a new friend and old school THr/diver, and my fav.....GOLD ;D

Howdy graffixgirl, nice cross! Just wanted to warn you about the Disney ring. Many times their items are NOT stamped, BUT they are gold. I have recovered a couple, NOT stamped and the refinery accepted them as GOLD! Better acid test it or have a reputable source ID it, before throwing it into the junk box. Just an FYI, that could pay, savvy? GH
