I stumbled across a great sale that I happened to be first at. Lots of great old tools (got some Mac sockets) and some NOS vintage stuff. A small box of jewelry had what looked to be mostly junk/crafting supplies. The pendent was clearly sterling (and is marked) and was only $2.00. The necklace was marked $2.00 and I saw 14KT plus some other writing. I assumed the yellow gold beads were the 14KT and the rest was sterling, but when I got home I found it was marked Milros Italy 14KT. It passed my acid test and weighs 14.4 grams. My biggest single gold find to date. I don't fully trust my acid testing, so I won't really be happy until I have money in hand for it.

Congrats on the score. A lot of people pass by yard sale jewelry; assuming it’s all costume junk. My eyes aren’t good enough to read the stampings any more. If I pull out an eye piece, the owners immediately think I found value and often change their mind about selling.
