Got in a couple of hunts this week. Digging has been a little messy lately due to rain about every 3 days and not a lot of sun in between. Short hunt Wednesday got the silver and costume ring for number 6 & 7 for the year. Hunted with Jim Don and Ten Speed Saturday but only junk jewelry and coins. Sunday I went out of town to find area that might produce rings but not as trashy as the site Saturday. I did find it and it produced. Noticing lack of a lot of trash I decided to hunt only low tones on my Safari. Ignored most high tones one really stuck out with a screeching tone and 39 TID. Out pops a 37 Mercury dime. The small boys gold ring rang in at 18 with a warm tone instead of the hollow tone slaw will give. Last gold I got was last summer and the same type of ring but a girls ring. Found it on the curb grass. Ring on left is from last summer. Next ring rang in at 19 with the same tone. Rings 8 and 9. The marbles came out with the costume ring. The 63 Rosie came from a late 50's home at the base of a tree. Silver coins 20 and 21 for this year. Well worth the 65 miles round trip.
