.10 x 9 pieces... = .90
So the extra $1.10 was a tip ? heh

Not that it matters after that score.
Sheesh 10 dollars would still have been killer.

Nice haul... gotta love those occasional good garage sales.

The 14k bracelet was broken into 3 pieces and I also purchased a crystal ring saver. That brought the balance to 2.00, or at least that was what the seller wanted. I wasn't going to complain over a few dimes

Agreed.

Great buy.

I would see if the sterling chain is marked Avery, that looks like one of their clasps and it would be worth 30-40 if so.

My usual estate sale pickings were slim so I hit some garage sales instead. Lots of junk but my last stop yelled this little pile.

Anything in the box was .10 so I gladly grabbed what I could find. Included with the jewelry was a crystal ring saver by Waterford.

I wish every yard sale was like that!

I do declare!!! A great find, indeed! This is exactly why I'd never be able to be a good poker player. My pulse rate would have been in the triple digits and the "5 gallons of Adrenalin" pumping through my body would having my heart being heard all the way out to the street curb. I've come to learn there is more enjoyment and pumping Adrenalin when buying than when selling!!!

Our local estate sales seem to offer little in the way of silver, gold, or great finds. I usually end up buying consumables like sealed quarts/gallons of oil, insect spray, paint/lacquer thinner, spray cans of paint, silicone, or rust dissolvers, and small boxes/bags of Miracle Grow high end fertilizers....

Keep up the good work!

Bill
