This is the first time since I started this addiction,that I scored both Gold and Silver in the same hunt.
Yours truly, the Wife and Hunt buddy Rob got together and hunted a fairgrounds (another first).
My wife found a good strong signal, called me over to run my machine over, it came up a VDI +6, Given that the last Gold found was a +8, I had no choice but to dig it. I dug it expecting junk. Imagine our surprise. 14k 2.4 Grams. Not big, but Woo Woo.
A bit after that, I moved across the roadway and worked along the fence. Got a good VDI +18, okay could be a nickle.it was, a WAR Nickle.
Exciting. My neighbors moved out two weeks ago. So Rob and I hit it.
I scored this vintage Ford Hubcap and a 1958 Wheatie.
