Holy cow!! This is friggen' crazy! OK, so I went out to the lake/park to search for the other ring that goes with the diamond and sapphire wedding set I found a few days ago and posted previous to this. I planned on spending the better part of 6 hours to search. About 2 hours into it I got this strong 45 signal. I knelt down and literally said to myself, "wouldn't it be cool if this is the match to that ring?" No sooner than saying that, I dug this plug and BAM! This little beauty was nestled in the plug! It is a 10k plumb with 6 diamonds and 10 emeralds. There is a center stone that is missing. I marked the spot and might come back to retrieve a bucket of dirt where I found the ring to later pan it out in hopes of finding that stone. I just couldn't believe it! So after calming down and gathering my senses, I decided to slow down even more. 2 feet away I got a scratchy 69-70, dug it and out came this necklace! I about flipped! Anyhow, I dug a couple more targets, but decided to stop and finish the area next week some time. The necklace turned out to be bling, but cool find none the less. Some other interesting finds were a 1945 wheat, a 1979 20 centavos and this "what is it?". It appears to be made of copper, is super paper thin fragile and appears to have a cloth type backing. Anyhow, I love this hobby!! Take care and have a Merry Christmas!
