Going to vacation at Hollywood!

I will be in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in May. Any good spots close to pan for gold. I'm not trying to get rich...just find some color. Trying to prove a point to the wife. I love the serenity of sitting in a creek in the outdoors.

I have heard that lots of people pan in the creek that runs right through that area! I think that might be little pigeon? Don't quote me on that but if memory serves me, I think gold has been found there quite often. But to say something that is always told to me is "gold is where you find it!" It is just about everywhere! It can just be harder to find have fun at Dollywood you might wan to change the title and maybe you will get more responses.

I found a few flakes there back in 1988, hard to remember exact place names now of course but it was a creek near Pigeon Forge.
