Going to try Ft. Pierce Sunday

I'll try detecting John Brooks park/Turtle beach, south to Middle Cove Park . This site is about 2 and a half miles south of Ft. Pierce inlet. Has anyone been there recently?? I'm just a rookie at this so any tips you can send my way by noon Sunday will surely be appreciated.
I will post the results of my trip tomorrow evening. It's about a 100 mile trip each way from here.

xsluxury I'm traveling from San Diego for a family function in St. Petersberg on Oct. 9th and want to travel to Fort Pierce on Oct. 10th to try my hand at treasure hunting the beaches. I've tried to locate hotels but everthing is closed in the area, so my time in this area will be short. If anyone has any ideas on where to try, let me know. xsluxury im looking forward to hearing your results... Thanks

Hey John, did you check out the "Treasure Beaches ARE CLOSED!!!" thread? It will be interesting to see if you got on the beaches. Please let us know!!!!!!!

Since we haven't heard back from this guy, my guess is he was caught on one of the beach parks and was shot & killed for trespassing...
