Hey all... I'm going to Palm Springs (well Palm Desert) and wondering if I should bring my detector to search for possible hidden caches... I will be staying at a resort that's been around since the 1960's.... It's kind of a secluded resort between Joshua tree park and Salton Sea and is primarily a 55+ community.... (Mostly seasonal seeing how hot it gets in the summer)
There are lots of hiking/walking trails in and around the park.... I'm wondering what the possibilities are that someone would hide a cache in the desert (next to a cactus or something) only to pass away unexpectedly....
Just winding if it's worth it to bring the detector on the plane and the hassle to travel with it....
Has anyone had experience looking for/finding a cache in this kind of circumstance ?
