ok I'm going crazy here ,I was reading a post on TN (cant remember where) an somebody mentioned something about "dont forget while in Yuma to see the ((board walk)) or the ((street of wooden planks)).............I cant remember the whole thing or what it was called or just where they said it was...........does ANYBODY have any idea or info about something like this...........it almost sounded like a town that was there long ago an only thing left now is some sort of board walk or street of boards.I have tried to search online but come upo empty handed ,probly cause I have no real clue what I'm lookin for.any help would be great .

the board road is in the sand dunes on the calif side of the river...it is hidden and exposed dependent on the tide of the sand.
no more than 50 miles into calif, it will be on the north side of the interstate...
hope that helps..there were several articles in the treasure/old west mags of the 60'and 70's...
