WTG on those nice finds. I think the OG is missing the M in the middle - Oh My God :D

The OG means Original Gangster.

no no th OG stands for Old Guy lol sweet finds I think you found a honey hole :icon_thumright:

Tex:

This may help:

"Rolled Gold, Gold Overlay. ( RG, OG, GO,) This is not a plating process but a fusion process where a sheet of base metal is covered with thin layers of gold and then heat fused together. Jewelry is then made from this. There is usually an indicator number to tell you how much gold was used. E.g. 1/40 18K RG means that an 18K layer has been fused to a base metal AND that 1/40 of the total weight of the piece is 18k gold.

Don.......

Thank you, Perhaps. But I can say if this is some kind of gold overlay or plating ,its a well worn ring and I see no other medal coming through.

If thats the case, then these are probaly CZ stones. as even cheap diamonds wouldent be as clear.

awesome finds buddy, better go back and make sure you didn't something

Nice finds and congrats on some neat
rings 'n things. Gold Nuggets :hello:

WOW NICE FIND :headbang: :headbang:

Very nice rings! That baby ring looks to be high quality gold.....Good for you!! :icon_thumleft:

HH,
Moon

WTG bud! I would take the big ring to a pawn shop. They will test it for you free and tell you if it is solid 14k or not.

Def found some individual fish hooks, I Got into a real trash area but it was still digable sand, Dug alot of crap there but that where the big ring came from. This spot has about 1 mile or more of sand shore line. Perfect for a lake hunt.
In A lake most stuff stays where it was droped, except alot of the Light stuff.

Well done friend, Congradulations.....

Yes I also like hunting the lakes swimming holes. They always have some good stuff. You sure have some nice items there hope the biggie is true gold for you....Matt

Got it Checked out today Its PURE 14K not "Gold overlay". the OG is a company initials.. The stones are CZ though. Its still a whooping 100.00 offerd at 11.00 a gram, so Ill sell it on ebay soon and might get 16.00 a gram (Maybe more).
Cleaned up really pretty.
