Gmt

Can the coil on the gmt be submerged in water? I'm talking about detecting maybe 6 inches deep.

Tyee--I'm glad you got an answer on that one as I don't have a clue on a lot of things to do with VLF's. But, as you've found out, there's a lot of very knowledgable people that do, and they're also very willing to help. GG does a lot of that.

Hi Tyee,
All the coils for the GMT are waterproof. The big 14" sierra coil floats making it physically difficult to keep it under water as it keeps fighting me to get back up to the surface....................63bkpkr in Texas
