Glove holder?

Ok I have no real clue on this one. I found it just outside of an early 1800's cellar hole about a month ago. Both the glove fingers and this metal piece were in the same hole.

The silver looking spectacle shaped thing came from a 1700's house in town. It was near the road (on the side of the house)

That spectacle looking thing looks like the little gizmos they put on chickens beaks so that they can't see to peck at the other birds. I don't remember what they're called.

Yep. They still make them but they're plastic. I googled them & guess what they're called? Chicken spectacles! LOL. Those little holes are for a pin that goes thru the air holes on the chicken's beak and no, it doesn't hurt the bird. They can still see but not directly in front of their beaks.

OK, I noticed that you said you found it beside the road. Perhaps the chicken lost it when it crossed the...........on never mind!
