Glass Scrap

Does anyone know if anyone takes glass and how much they give for it. I pick up cans in the ditch sometimes, and it seems like a shame to see all those beer bottles, or whatever just laying there alongside. I live in central kansas around the Russell area, so if anyone knows if anyone around here takes it I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Here in CA there is a nickel deposit on bottles. But at just over 3 to a lb they are worth more in bulk. Currently $1.09 a lb vs .15 a lb crv ( calif redemtion value).

I had no idea glass was up that high, to bad I live in kansas and not cal. I asked a couple places around here if they took glass, and thay all told me no, and they don't know anyone else that does. One place did tell me that when they build their new shop here in town, that they will be taking alot more stuff, and possibily glass as well.
